I bought 500 points did a test render which didn't render as it does on my machine, the glass is supposed to be transparent so you can see through it as a PNG, it's a building and it rendered black. Second I rendered another static image and it told me after the job finished I didn't have enough points so I bought more but the rendering is NOT in the folder, yes I refreshed the page. That's 14 Euro's and about 4 hours of my time and I have nothing.

Where is the rendering I just paid for? Is there a folder somewhere on the web site for all of the files you pay for?

Thanks!

If I remember correctly this problem was handled by email, is that right?

Problems with transparency in glass and PNG seems to be indeed a bug to fix. Thanks for reporting. I'll try to fix that ASAP.

I did some additional tests and the background renders black when using an HDRI even in areas where there is no glass. With Cycles to get a transparent background you need to use a glossy shader and a transparent shader as I recall not the "glass" shader to get a transparent background through glass. In any event everything renders fine here on my machine but not on Raypump.

If you want a screen shot of the glass shader nodes let me know.

PS, No this was not resolved via email.

All example renders or scenes would be a lot of help.
Also let me know what was the cost of renders that failed to work. I'll refund lost Render Points.

Hi,

Unfortunately none of the renders from Raypump were right, I bought 2 x 500 credits, not sure how many I used.

Here is a screen grab of the glass shader in cycles. Using a HDRI for lighting and setting the Film to transparent you should be able to get a transparent background through any glass with this shader.

As you can see from the rendering the background is black. I guess there is something still wrong?

Ran another test with "no" HDRI and it works. So, it seems to me your system is not receiving the HDRI on file transfer. At least that's my best guess...

Well, that's interesting observation. I wonder why that HDRI file doesn't transfer then?
Does it work with different sky texture (e.g. simple jpg/png file)?
